Finally settled into my new place on Capitol Hill. Taking time to integrate into the whole vibe of the area. I am very lucky to know so many good people up here. My studio is pretty fantastic though it does face south, the heat is pretty intense. $920 a month: KILLS ME.

Been meaning to see something at the Seattle Film Festival (only 3 block from the Egyptian) but have just been so busy. Even when I am not, my mind continues to race.

I miss livejournal folk! I will post more.

I guess things do not have to go according to plan to go well.
all the things in my life that are RIGHT could not have been foreseen last year.
lucky me.

spackle, chipping, paint, demolition, construction, scrubbing, dig and plant. -- these last two months have been insanely busy --- the house will go up for sale this week and i hope it sells fast. I am so eager to move to capital hill, especially since erica is now waiting for me. i feel bad for neglecting her lately (and everyone else for that matter).

Starr is coming down this weekend to celebrate my 24th Birthday. Everyone in my family is in such transition. Mom is moving up to the mountain house until her dream home by the ocean is built in '08, Starr is buying a house with Jonathan up in Bellingham, and I will me moving out of Issaquah (finally) in April. Such huge changes all at once but I don't the 3 of us have ever been happier.

I go into 2007 more nervous and more excited than ever before. I feel blessed to have good friends that put up with my mood swings and a stable family that supports and helps me succeed (even if they have an obscure way of doing so) - This year, I've lost faith in many things and rather than feeling demoralized, I've felt a large weight lifted.

christmas was the usual mix of nostalgia, laughter, and uncomfortableness. I drank a lot of champagne with lemonchello and ate a months worth of food.

got a lot of wonderful gifts: burberry london, clothes, gift cards, camera goods (bag, tripod, printer), art supplies (tubes of watercolor, sketchbook, pens).
